The Deputy from the Communist Party Vadim Solovyov introduced a bill imposing a ban on the use of search engines, instant messengers and phones of some models by the officials to the State Duma for consideration.

The document was placed in the database of the Federal Assembly on Tuesday, November 17. The communist proposes to supplement the law “On State Civil Service” with the ban on the use of technical means which allow unauthorized access to confidential information.

“The Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev proposed to improve the system of information protection, because some software of foreign technical intelligence was found in the information systems of government authorities” - Solovyov said in an explanatory note to the bill.
