Moscow International Comics Festival Celebrates Its Fifth Jubilee

The international comics' festival ComMission 2006 launched yesterday in the Contemporary Art Centre M'ARS.
      
      In addition to France, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Japan, Poland, Slovenia and Ukraine that participated in the festival last year Luxemburg and Czech join in this time.
      
      Directmedia Publishing House comes forth at the festival with its new projects of comic books and animated comics.
      The fair of independently published comics that was a success last year has been expanded and now artists can offer their books during the whole festival.
      
      The festival will last till May 14.
      
      Moreover, the festival arranges a jubilee exhibition 'ComMission 5 Years Old. The Very Best Of' in the Central House of Artist in the framework of the Moscow International Open Book Festival in late June - early July.
