Tokyo will Provide Moscow with Waste Recycling Technologies

The waste recycling cooperative of the city of Tokyo is ready to provide Moscow with the complex of its technologies.

Tokyo has practiced segregated waste collection and utilization since the 1970s. The cooperative founded for this purpose and financed by administrations of 23 districts of Tokyo has state-of-the-art technologies of waste incineration with minimum emissions release. In November its experts will carry out preliminary study in Moscow.

The point is to provide Moscow not with separate technologies, but an overall industrial complex of collecting, utilization and incineration of garbage. 23 districts of Tokyo independently determine the categories for waste segregation. As a rule, it is incinerable waste, glass bottles, aluminum and steel jars, etc.
