The Government of Russia has not taken any decision on granting of a loan to Iran - the budget has no money for it. This was reported by the Assistant Minister of Finance Svetlana Nikitina, as TASS reports.
“There are no such decisions. The budget has no funds” - the representative of the Ministry of Finance noted. Earlier on November 12 the First Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade of Iran Mojtaba Hosroutadzh said that the Islamic Republic would get $ 7 billion from Russia: $ 5 billion - from the budget, another 2 - from Vnesheconombank (VEB). The money should have gone to infrastructure projects in the sphere of energy and railway transport.
