The Transport Minister Maksim Sokolov said that the Ministry of Transport would increase transport security measures in connection with the attack in Paris, as “Interfax” reports.
Passengers screening has been enhanced in Moscow airports, and the security and access control was reinforced at the most important railway facilities. “All the luggage, hand luggage and cargo are thoroughly checked for the presence of prohibited articles before admission to the aircraft” - the agency’s interlocutor said. In his turn, the Head of the Federal Air Transport Agency Aleksandr Neradko said that the agency did not consider the possibility of termination of the air communication with France.
At the same time, as RIA “Novosti” reported, the workers of railway stations and train crews hold special briefings for increasing of awareness in case of emergency situations. Earlier on Saturday the police enhanced security measures at the French Embassy in Moscow.
