The Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a telegram of condolence to the leader of France Francois Hollande.

“This tragedy has become another evidence of the barbaric nature of terrorism which defies the human civilization. It is obvious that real joint efforts of the international community are needed for an effective fight against this evil” - the text said.

The Russian leader proposed to the French side to help them with the investigation. “I hope that the customers and performers of this crime will suffer the deserved punishment” - the telegram stated.

According to the updated information, 128 people were victims of a series of terrorist attacks, another 99 are in hospital in a critical condition. The responsibility for the incident was taken by the “Islamic State” (the activities of the group are banned in Russia).
