Svetlana Kuznetsova Won the Kremlin Cup

The Russian sportswoman Svetlana Kuznetsova has become the winner of the Kremlin Cup for the first time in her career. This was reported by the official website of the competition.

      The tennis player has beaten her compatriot Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova with a score of 6: 2, 6: 1 in the final of the tournament in Moscow. The match lasted for 1 hour and 19 minutes. The score of the personal meetings between athletes is 4: 1 in favor of Kuznetsova. The success in Moscow has brought more than 131 thousand dollars of prize money and 470 ranking points to the Russian sportswoman. This was the first victory of the season for the 30-year-old Kuznetsova who holds the 32th place in the world ranking. The Russian athlete has a total of 15 single titles of WTA Series.
