Short-Length Film Festival in Moscow this Week-End

The Moscow Documentary Film Center welcomes all to the independent film festival 2morrow / Tomorrow on October 17-18.

      The short-length film festival is based on a competitive program presenting works by film directors well acclaimed at film festivals of the European level.

      The much-needed avant-gardists Peter Tscherkasski and Ben Rivers will show their brainchildren at the festival. The program will be opened Brother Dejan directed by Bakur Bakuradze tellling the life story of the war general on the Balkans before his arrest.

      Short-length film is always new experiment with the language, the subject and the structure of the film, therefore the genre is so popular among film lovers.

      Several works by directors awarded at the Cannes and Venetian film festivals will also be part and parcel of the week-end program. The festival will be closed with the film Cemetery of Splendour by Apichatpong «Joe» Weerasethakul.
