The first pictures of the Russian pilot who returned from the combat flight to an air base near the Syrian Latakia have appeared on the Internet. The pictures were posted by the correspondent of “Komsomolskaya Pravda” Aleksandr Kots staying in Syria on his Instagram account.
During the day of October 2 the aircrafts of the Aerospace Forces (ASF) of Russia inflicted pinpoint strikes on the nine objects of the “Islamic State” in Syria, including a command centre, according to the Russian Defense Ministry. So, as a result of the six flights on October 2, three objects of the terrorist infrastructure were destroyed. In particular, the pinpoint strike of the concrete-penetrating air bomb BetAB-500 from the Su-34 aircraft destroyed a secure command centre of one of the gangs near the town of Raqqa, as well as an underground bunker with a warehouse of explosives and ammunition.
