Last weekend the charitable organization Downside Up, which helps children with Down syndrome and their families, raised money with a cycling event through Moscow and Kaluga regions.

      100 people took part in the event in Kaluga, while 600 participants were cycling in Moscow.

      The event in Moscow started from Luzhnetskaya Naberezhnaya, went past the Christ the Savior Cathedral and the walls of the Kremlin, and finished at VDNKh.

      The celebration continued with a concert later.

      Downside Up already helped 4,500 families with Down syndrome.   And they are working harder to create greater awareness. With the help of charities opinions are changing for better, but Russia is still not really there yet.
