Russians have warmed up to the West after the winter’s peak in animosity, says a recent survey.

      According to the poll by the Levada Center, 70 percent of Russians hate the US compared with 81 percent earlier this year. Only 19 percent have a positive feeling towards the US.

      Russians seem to be taking a softer stance on the EU, going from 71 percent in January to 62 percent in July.

      China retains its charm with 75 percent of the Russians.
