Zhanna Nemtsova will start to work as a reporter in the Russian editorial board of Deutsche Welle in Bonn in August. This is reported on the website of the TV and radio company.
“Deutsche Welle is a reliable source of information for many Russian people. I am glad that I will work with the Russian editorial board” - Deutsche Welle quotes the journalist’s words. Nemtsova left Russia on June 8. In her interview with The Times she said that she had decided to make this step after she had begun to receive threats after the death of her father - the opposition leader Boris Nemtsov. He was shot dead on the Bolshoy Moskvoretsky Bridge in the centre of the capital in the evening of February 27. His daughter allocated the “political responsibility” for the murder of her father to the Kremlin. Nemtsova did not disclose her location.
Zhanna is the eldest daughter of the opposition politician. She worked with the RBC channel from 2005 to 2007.
