Dmitry Khvorostovsky to Undergo Treatment in London

The world famous baritone has been diagnosed with brain tumor. The opera singer has had to cancel all his performances till the end of summer.


      
Dmitry Khvorostovsky will undergo a medical treatment course in the oncology clinic Royal Marsden in London. The duration of his treatment remains unknown so far.

      
Doctors cannot tell anything for certain because detailed examination has not been conducted yet. 

      
Dmitry Khvorostovsky with his family is staying in London now.

      
The unrivaled baritone gained world-wide fame   after his victory at the Cardiff International Competition of Opera Singers in 1989. He performs on the world’s best opera stages, including the Metropolitan Opera, La Scala, Covent Garden, and the Vienna State Opera.
