Russian Citizens Are Allowed To Travel To South Korea Despite MERS

Russian citizens are allowed to travel to South Korea despite the fact of  recorded outbreak of coronavirus MERS in this country, as reported by Tass. This statement was made by the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova.

      Earlier in Germany first European patient infected by MERS died. The number of deaths from the virus in Korea reached 19 people, and there are 154 people infected.

      Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets said that Russia had started  the development of a vaccine against the coronavirus MERS long time ago. However, Deputy Prime Minister stressed that there is no threat of an epidemic of the virus in Russia at the moment.
