The official representative of Ankara announced the adjusted scheduled terms of the launch of “The Turkish Stream”.
The Ambassador of the republic in Moscow Umit Yardym said in an interview to “Interfax” that the commissioning of the pipeline was most likely to be expected after 2017. Earlier the Head of “Gazprom” Aleksei Miller stated that it was planned to launch “The Turkish Stream” in December 2016. According to the Turkish diplomat, Ankara and Moscow “have not yet reached the stage of the project beginning”. “Maybe today it is wrong to name such exact dates of the pipeline launch as the years 2016 or 2017” – Yardym said, adding that the successful implementation of the project would be “a great victory both for Turkey and Russia”.
