The Kremlin commented on the victory of Andrzej Duda in the presidential elections in Poland. Thus, the Russian President Vladimir Putin wished him success in his new position, and the press secretary of the Head of the state Dmitry Peskov expressed hope for “good, unbiased and stereotype-free” relations with the new leader of the country, as “Lenta.Ru” reported.
The official website of the Kremlin also reported that Putin sent a congratulatory telegram to Duda. There he wrote about his confidence “that building constructive relations between Russia and Poland based on the principles of good neighbors’ relations and mutual respect of interests would strengthen security and stability in Europe”.
