The archive of the writers Arkady and Boris Strugatsky was moved from Donetsk to Russia. Currently it is in Rostov-on-Don. This was reported by the “Donetsk News Agency” with the reference to the representative of the self-proclaimed “DPR” Vladislav Rusanov.

“Silent mode” was observed before the crossing of the Russian border on May 15 in order to avoid provocations, now it can be told: the archive of Strugatsky brothers was preserved in Donetsk and returned to Russia” - the Donetsk writer Vladimir Skobtsov told to the agency. The report said that “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” assisted in the transportation of the archive. The website of the newspaper said that the typewritten manuscripts and works of the writers were brought to Donetsk in 1990s. The admirer and scholar of Strugatsky brothers Svetlana Bondarenko was preparing the materials for publication of her multi-volume work there.
