Vostochny Cosmodrome Will Hire More People

Additional 2.5 thousand people will be involved in the construction of Vostochny cosmodrome in spring and summer, as TASS reported on Friday,  referring to the press service of the Russian Federal Agency for Special Construction.

      “An additional; mobilization of the Spetsstroy enterprises of Russia and its sub-contractors is continued, first of all, in the technical complex” - the service explained. The student construction of “Vostochny Cosmodrome – 2015” will begin in May. It will be attended by 1.2 thousand young people from all Russia. Students will work as road workers, plasterers, painters, carpenters, concrete workers, perform utility works.

      According to Spetsstroy, 7,337 people are currently employed at the construction site. The service believes that these forces be sufficient to meet the construction schedule.
