The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation has approved a list of companies that have a major impact on industry and trade. It includes several light industry enterprises.
On March 27, 2015 the Ministry of Industry issued the decree ¹ 596 “On approval of formation of maintaining a list of organizations that have a significant impact on industry and trade”, and on April 7, 2015 by the order ¹ 740 this list was approved.
Listed organizations can take advantage of a separate category of state support measures. In particular, the state will reimburse part of costs of loan interest.
At this point in the approved list of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation includes the following enterprises of light industry: “Bris-Bosphor” (Moscow), “Paritet” (Moscow region), “Tchaikovsky Textile Company” (Perm region), “Kineshma Spinning and Weaving Factory” (Ivanovo region), “Russkaya Kozha” (Ryazan region), “TDL Textile” (Ivanovo region), “Cord” (Yaroslavl region), “Bryansk worsted complex” (Bryansk region), “Factory of Non-woven materials “Ves Mir” (Moscow region), “Yakhting” (Chuvash Republic), “Kamyshinsky textile” (Volgograd region), “Egoryevsk obuv” (Moscow region), “Komitex” (Komi Republic), “Kotovskiy plant of non-woven materials” (Tambov region), and the company “Unichel” (Chelyabinsk region).
To enter the list of organizations that have a major impact on industry and trade, the company needs to meet one of the criteria: it must significantly affect employment in a particular settlement (at least 25% of total employment); fulfil a state defence order; more than 50% of its shares are owned by a legal entity included in the list of strategic enterprises; the company’s activities are consistent with the goals and objectives set by government programs of the Russian Federation.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the list will be updated regularly.
