A monument to the “RASKAT” roller has been installed in Kirov. This is the second monument of the oldest manufacturer of road compaction equipment in Russia. The first monument was installed by the manufacturer itself in 1931. The domestic motor roller “MKK” weighing 10 tons was put onto pedestal in the town of Rybinsk.

      The second monument is dedicated to the model “Du-50” manufactured 40 years later - in 1971. The initiative of perpetuation of this model belongs to Novovyatskoe Road Authority No. 6. The organization installed it to celebrate the 90-year anniversary of road workers. This roller had properly served the construction company of Kirov Oblast for many years, many workers of the Authority operated it, then they decided to capture the car as a symbol of many generations of road workers, according to the press service of the Trading Company “Ivanovskaya Marka”.
