As the Head of the Department for Transport and Road Infrastructure Development Maksim Liksutov reported, the service has no analogues in the world. “Moscow is the only city in the world where wireless Internet is available directly in metro carriages moving along the line” - the Deputy Mayor said. He specified that, according to forecasts, the number of Wi-Fi users in the Moscow metro will be 3 million people per day in 2015. “A wireless network in the metro is already used by 1.5 million people daily” – Liksutov noted.
