In autumn, the tourists arriving to the capital will be offered three types of weekends, the head of Moskomturizm Sergei Shpilko said at the press conference. So far there are "Youth", "Family" and "School" weekends.
At the same time the head of the department said the new program was rather designed for the Russians visiting Moscow. "We tried to synchronize the new tourism product with cultural events, to make it accessible for various groups. We need to give an answer to what is happening in the tourism industry market, when the crisis is also present in the domestic market. The new programs are mostly designed for the Russians," Mr. Shpilko explained. He also attracted attention to the new tour programs for the weekend: a tour through the Kremlin with the "Moscow Kremlin" audio-guide in seven languages; the "Nighttime Moscow" and "Moscow Lights". Many programs will be dedicated to the Night of Music; Night of Arts and "Light Circle" Festival. According to him, there are many free excursions for those who cannot afford expensive trip to the capital. In particular, 67 Moscow museums will work free on September 21, October 19, November 16 and December 21, Moskva 24 TV channel reports.
