A tourism cluster will be created in Moscow Oblast. Total investment will make up 39.2 billion rubles.
Project duration is seven years, Gazeta.ru cites the Ministry of Culture of the Moscow Oblast. The cluster will appear as a part of the "Dmitrovsk Alps" mini-policy. The corresponding agreement was signed by the Minister of Culture of Moscow Region Oleg Rozhnov with JSC "Wide View Development".
It is assumed that the establishment of the cluster will be the "starting point to explore the culture and heritage of our country for five million tourists a year." The project will cover an area of 170 hectares, which will house a sports and recreation complex with the ski resort, an area for small aircrafts, multifunctional medical center, linguistic and landscape centers, nature park, agro-tourism complex, business center, exhibition center, the village museum, seven themed hotels with the capacity of 736 hotel rooms. The cluster project is designed for 350 thousand guests a year and for 15.2 thousand persons living there permanently or seasonally.
