The theme park worth about 3 billion rubles will be built in coming years in Gelendzhik, the head of the resort town Victor Khrestin told Interfax on the sidelines of the investment forum in Sochi.

      "Every year we bring 50-60 investment projects at the Sochi investment forum. Primarily, the construction projects of hotel complexes and service businesses. But this year we brought another interesting project of a theme park, which will be located on a total area of 60 hectares," the head of Gelendzhik said.

      According to him, the project investment will amount about 3 billion rubles. The project has passed the state examination and after the adoption of the master plan we will start the direct implementation of the project. According to Mr. Khrestin, the deadlines will be about two years. "This is an amusement park like Disneyland, which will give our visitors the opportunity to rest not only on the beach, but also in the entertainment complex," the city mayor said. According to him, no less important project presented on the forum, is the construction of a marina for 200 boats. Currently, the project passes the state examination.
