The Moscow authorities are developing a single ticket for several city and federal museums that will be integrated with the "Troika" transport card, Sergei Kapkov the head of the capital's Department of Culture told to reporters.
The single ticket will allow accessing from three to five museums, Mr. Kapkov said. In this regard he hopes that the project will be supported by such museums as Tretyakov Gallery and the Pushkin Museum. First single tickets can appear as early as in 2015, the head of the museum and exhibition division of the Department of Culture, Anton Goryanov said. However, such tickets will not be valid any day, but during holidays only. Mr. Goryanov reported that the Moscow authorities have considered the possibility of making single museum tickets permanently usable, but experts have expressed their doubt that the initiative will gain a massive support. It is expected that visiting a few museums with single ticket will be cheaper by 30-40%.
