Russia To Build 60 Nuclear Power Plants Abroad

Russia plans building 60 nuclear power plants abroad within 25 years, said Sergey Kiriyenko, chief of the Federal Atomic Energy.
      
      Russia will probably focus more on South East Asia, to meet its growing electric energy.
      
      At present, Russia is building three nuclear power plants abroad - in Iran, China and India.
      
      On February 1, Russia filed a bid for the construction of a nuclear power plant in Belene, Bulgaria.
      
      Specialists of the former Soviet Union have 30 reactors on their record.
