AvtoVAZ To Launch Assembly Plant in Egypt

Lada Egipt Company, the AvtoVAZ subsidiary, is due to launch assembly facilities in Egypt on February 21th.

      The Cairo-based plant is expected to assemble Lada-2107 and Lada-110 in addition to the existing production of Lada-2107 since 2002.

      AvtoVAZ plans to ship more than 3,300 parts to Egypt in 2006.
