Private museum of Russian impressionism will be opened in Moscow in 2015.
The museum will be housed in the building of the former confectionery Bolshevik.
The Impressionism Museum will be founded on the basis of Boris Mintz’ collection and supplemented with other private collections provided for long-term display.
The exhibition halls will take the area of about 1000 meters, and will be transformable depending on the number of exhibitions held.
Much attention is also paid to lighting and maintaining particular temperature. “We plan blockbuster exhibitions and so we need a well-equipped museum”, Boris Mintz explains. According to the entrepreneur, the program has already been developed for a few years ahead, with 3 to 4 temporary exhibition projects expected per year.
