First issue of “Russian Space” magazine, issued by International Association of Space Activities, has recently been published.
As to Russian Federal Space Agency press service, new magazine’s audience is concerned about country’s achievements in science and technology, high technologies, and past, present and future of cosmonautics. The magazine offers its readers official information about Russia’s space activities, articles about theory and practice of Russian space policy, space science and education, and international cooperation in the area of space.
“Russian Space” editors emphasize the fact, that Russia lacks mass media, covering burning issues of space study and exploration, despite Russia giving birth to Tsiolkovsky, Gagarin and some world famous designers of space equipment.
Today the world actively develops the strategy of space exploration by human beings. What should get the highest priority – should we start exploration of near space, or may be we should return back to Moon study and exploration? Should we boost preparations of manned expedition to Mars? Or may be all these fields should be developed simultaneously? What are new approaches to applications of space activity and new technology results?
“Russian Space” magazine invites everyone to discuss said problems.
