FGC UES filed an application for NWF funding of the BAM and Transsib projects.

      “Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System” OJSC filed an application for the funding of BAM and Transsib projects implementation by the National Welfare Fund, including about 70 billion roubles for increasing the capacity of BAM and Transsib. This was reported by a correspondent of “Gazeta.Ru” referring to the Chairman of the Management Board of the company Andrey Murov.

      “FGC UES” OJSC will implement projects for BAM and Transsib. The application for these railways was drafted jointly with “Russian Railways” OJSC. Currently, the terms and the form of funds provision for the development of power grid infrastructure in Eastern Siberia and the Far East are being discussed with the government. “Even if we do not receive funds from the NWF, it does not mean that separate projects within the program for BAM and Transsib development will not be implemented. But then it will be done later, taking into account the available financial resources of the company” - the Chairman of the Management Board clarified.
