The Moscow festival “Ostrov.ru” won National Tourism Award.

      The jury of the National Award for event tourism appreciated "Ostrov.ru" annual festival, presented by the singer Olga Kormukhina in Zarudnoye tract of Naro-Fominsk district, as the brand of Moscow region and bestowed it the Grand Prix in the "Best Project in the field of culture" category.

      Olga Kormukhina’s forum is united by music, volunteerism and good deeds. It has been held in Moscow area with the support of Naro-Fominsky Municipal District already for the second time. This year "Ostrov.ru" festival was dedicated to volunteers. Participants raised funds for the rebuilding of the local church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin: right after the festival a new foundation was built for the nearly falling church. Now the restoration is in progress. The Third Festival of good deeds "Ostrov.ru" will be held on 18-20 July 2014 in Zarudnoye tract of Naro-Fominsk and will be dedicated to the family. Besides that, starting 2014 "Ostrov.ru" will reach the new federal stage of development and will be held in different cities of Russia. Nizhny Novgorod has already picked up the baton.
