The officers of the Federal Security Service Directorate of Russia in Novosibirsk oblast announced the suppression of activity of the two Novosibirsk residents who had collected scientific and technical documentation in the field of modern dual purpose meters and transferred it to the benefit of a citizen of one of the states of the Asia-Pacific region.

      “In order to prevent the commission of a particularly serious crime, these persons were declared an official warning on prohibition of actions creating conditions for commission of a crime under Art. 275 of the Criminal Code (treason felony)” - the press-service of the Federal Security Service Directorate in the region reports.

      The pronouncement of official warnings resulted from operational procedures conducted by counterintelligence officers in 2011-2013, which resulted in the suppression of the illegal export of the products of Novosibirsk companies abroad by a foreign intelligence service representative. “After conviction for smuggling the foreigner was excluded from Russia” - the agency explains.
