A 35-meter observation wheel will have opened in Novosibirsk on the quay of the Ob River by the New Year; its cabins will be heated during the cold season. The ride will open on December 30, 2013 and will work all year round.

As the chief designer of the city Yuri Burika told, the ride will operate throughout the year. The big wheel will be a part of the ice city dedicated to Winter Olympics, which will open on December, 30. The Department of Culture, Sport and Youth Policy of the Mayor`s Office referred to the owner of the wheel and added that it will be possible to ride it at a temperature down to -15 degrees, it also mentioned the excellent construction illumination system - 2,5 thousand of LED bulbs.
