Rybinsk pie baked for the celebration of the City Day was recognized as the official record of Russia. This unanimous decision was made by the editorial board of "Russian Book of Records".
76.45 meter long, 75 centimeter wide, 3 centimeters thick and weighing about a ton – these were the proportions of baked pie measured at Rybinsk City Day on August 31. This is almost half meter longer than initially declared length. It took 14 hours to produce and design the pie. The pie presentation required 100 tables and 80 meters of white cloth. 30 catering staffs serving out the pie were dressed in stylized T-shirts and caps with the inscription "We want a record!". 10,000 servings of pie were eaten in less than 25 minutes.
