It will be possible to get to Sochi only by train during 2014 Olympics.

      Some restrictions related to security will come into effect in Sochi during the Olympics from January 7 to March 21, 2014. In particular, controlled areas will be set up in Sochi – for regular people and vehicles it would be possible to get there only after police control.

      From January 7 to March 21, 2014 any means of transportation will not be allowed to enter Sochi, except vehicles registered by the local State Road Traffic Safety Inspection, emergency transportation services and cars having accreditation certificates issued by Olympic Games Transport Directorate. This way, using railroad is the only chance to reach Sochi without obstacles from January 7 to March 21.
