About a score of drives were renamed in Moscow. Now they have names associated with the history of this place, or the names of famous people.

      Particularly, Svetlanov Street, named in honor of our outstanding conductor, composer and pianist will appear in the west of Moscow. It was proposed to immortalize the name of a street in northern part of the capital in memory of the hero of the Soviet Union, a major military commander Vasily Margelov. "Dybenko Street" station of Zamoskvoretskaya Metro line which is still under construction will get the new name of "Khovrino". 

      The square next to the house of Ivan Turgenev in Khamovninki district is to be named after writer and a drive in Zelenograd will receive the name of Designer Guskov Street.
