Sukhoi To Design Superjet NG by 2020

Russia will introduce a larger SSJ plane to the market by 2019-2020, says Vedomosti.

The model codenamed Sukhoi Superjet NG will boast 130 plus seats, operating as a link between the standard Sukhoi Superjet and the large MC-21 being designed by Irkut Corporation.

The R&D stage for the model is being financed by the United Aviation Building Corporation, with public funds expected to pour in by 2016.
