The House-Museum of Pushkin Vasiliy Lvovich, uncle of Pushkin A. S., was opened in Moscow on Staraya Basmannaya. It was he who brought his nephew to study at Tsarskoselskiy Lyceum at 12 years, and introduced him to Karamzin.
Pushkinist Nataliya Mikhailova conceived 30 years ago to recreate the life of Vasiliy Lvovich. All this time artifacts were being collected. The table with gilded ornaments was brought from Apraksin estate in Olgovo, where Vasiliy Pushkin was often. The album with morocco binding was bought at Christie's auction. Autographs from friends and fans were collected. Vasiliy Lvovich had been rented a two store house in classical style for 6 years; he called it “shack”.
