Pereslavl-Zalessky will turn into «the Berendey empire» for a day. On the 1st of June the festival «A visit to tsar Berendey» will take place in the city of Pereslavl-Zalessky of the Yaroslavl Region.

Fairytales heroes will come to the festival from the cities of Russia and Belarus. The city will become the patrimony of tsar Berendey for one day, and everyone who wishes will have a possibility to meet summer with favourite heroes of Russian fairytales. This year the fabulous touristic festival will be visited by the heroes from Veliki Ustyug, Kostroma, Tver, Yuzha, Rostov Veliky, Murom, Ryazan and Belarussian Bielavezhskaya Pushcha. The festival will take place on four principal city platforms: Berendey house, Pereslavl-Zalessky and state historical-architectural and art reserve museum, dendrological garden and museum «The birth of a fairytil». The festival will be over by great children festivity and coretege of fairytales heroes along the city streets.
