The festival TykvaDAY was named one of the best festivities of Russia. The «Sobytie» reward that is presented annually to the event-industry representatives took place in May. Among the participants there was Perm festival TykvaDay, organized by Gorky Central Park of Leisure.

The TykvaDAY festival took place in Gorky Park in Perm city from the 21th till the 23th of September of the 2012. 70 thousand people have visited it. Every day the TykvaDAY festival was dedicated to different types of «pumpkin (tykva)» art. The first day was called «Theater pumpkin (tykva)», the second - «Miracle pumpkin (tykva)» and was dedicated to the handmade from pumpkin, and the third day was called «Pumpkin (tykva) kindles!» and was dedicated to dancing.
