The Open Club Gallery in Moscow has opened the exhibition All Shades of Beauty by Bela Ossovskaya.
Artworks by Bela Ossovskaya (1938-2010) extremely seldom appeared at exhibitions; except for a couple of publications in Ogonyek and Molodaya Gvardia nobody wrote anything about her. However, she was not interested in popularity.
She died a few years ago, having left behind voluminous folders with graphic works as well as several hundred canvases.
Her landscapes and still lifes are painted with a masterly and at the same time reverent brush. Her works embody fragile harmony of the world, its instant and ever-changing beauty.
The exhibition will run till June 5.
