The exhibition crowns the Face and Soul project that has been worked on for the last two years.
For the first time it will show a large-scale installation of 48 portraits and over 1000 photos of Russian women who took part in the project.
Female portraits and photos of different years present all sides of beauty of Russian women and rich variety of their characters and destinies.
It was not occasionally that the artist Omar Galyani was invited to participate in the project: on the one hand, in Italy Galyani is often referred to as “Leonardo of our time” for his commitment to the Renaissance traditions and skills in ancient drawing techniques. On the other hand, the subjects of Galyani’s works and peculiarities of his author’s style prompt at reckoning among modern artists.
The exhibition will be held from May 22 to June 10, 2013 in the History Museum Exhibition Complex at the address 2/3, Ploshas Revolyutsii.
