New Moscow will cost about $100 million to the City of Moscow

The City of Moscow will pay out $100 million to the Moscow Region for its new territories, said the acting governor of Moscow region, Andrei Vorobyov, today.

      
The sum of $ 100 million will be divided on three equal parts and will be paid out during three years since 2013. The Moscow Region will also be compensated the foregone income for three years.

      
On July 1 this year Moscow officially enlarged its territory in 2.4 times, what has made it 6th largest city in the world in terms of square. The new territories, or how it is widely named now, the New Moscow, used to belonged to the Moscow region.
