New eco-friendly broadcasting station will have been built in Samara by the beginning of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. It will be constructed on the territory of the Radio Centre along with the new stadium and some other infrastructural projects.

Alexander Nefyodov, the vice-governor of the Samara region, held a working meeting on the 14-th of November, 2012, where the preparations for the World Cup 2018 were discussed actively.  It is underlined that the new broadcasting radio station will provide telephone service of high quality, digital TV, and high-speed Internet access.

What is more, it is supposed that this new broadcasting station will improve the environmental situation of the region as well. The Ministry of Communications of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Economic development of the Russian Federation are now discussing the issue of transferring the land  to the regional ownership.
