The Russian Railways is going to expand tourism opportunities by offering special train tours along with passenger transportation. 

      All routes will be carefully discussed and prepared according to preferences of Russian and foreign tourists. The main task is to create a fixed price not more that 6,000 rubles.

      One unique tour that is already exists will take place this summer. Passengers will pass from Moscow to Novgorod with stops in Tver and Torzhok. It is planned that such cultural trips will be held not only in Russia, but in the nearest countries like Finland and Czech Republic.

      It is important to mention that foreign tourists are most interested in long trips across Russia. The Trans-Siberian Railway is still very popular, and the representatives of the Russian Railways hope it can be extended up to Paris in future. Thus, tourists will be able to cross the whole continent by train.

      In addition, the famous last year's tour “The Trans-Siberian Odyssey” will be held in August on the special tourist train “Alexander Nevsky”.

       The Russia Railways is also going to create special trains for school holidays. The dining cars of such trains will serve only children food.
