Buranovskiye Babushki to represent Russia at Eurovision 2012

The group Buranovskiye Babushki from Udmurtiya will present Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with the song Party For Everybody.

      
Yesterday, March 6, the final of national elimination round Eurovision 2012 took place in Moscow. The group Buranovskiye Babushki got 38.51 points via TV viewers’ phone and sms voting and due to opinion of professional jury.

      
25 contestants took part in the national selecting, among them Dima Bilan, the winner of Eurovision 2008 in Serbia.

      
Buranovskiye Babushki used to participate in elimination round in 2010 but was outrun by Peter Nalitch.

      
The 57th Song Contest Eurovision will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 22 up to 26 May.
