In Romashka Settlement of the Leningrad Region ecologists have once again found infringements in recycling of animal industry wastes.
During their check-up ten houses in the settlement turned to be flooded with liquid manure-containing wastes spilled by the local Cattle-breeding complex Bor.
Liquid wastes of the enterprise located on a height, practically over the inhabited area, flood the lands of local dwellers. At some plots one can pass only in high rubber boots. In order to get to their own houses, the dwellers are compelled to make wooden floorings.
The residents reported to ecologists that due to problems with recycling of wastes at the enterprise, they could not drink water from their wells.
Now ecologists prepare an inquiry to the State Office of Public Prosecutor.
