Internet festival ‘Theatre Net’ will be held in Moscow on October 15-22. The Bolshoi Theatre, Chekhov Art Theatre, Novosibirsk Opera and other prominent theatres will take part in it. During this week audience will have a chance to watch a ballet classics – A.Glazunov’s Raymonda’ staged by Yuri Grigorovich, a modern drama - ‘Playing the victim’ by the Presnyakovs brothers, an avant-garde plastic drama – ‘Songs of the Rain’ after circular poetry of Dalai Lama the 6th, Chekhov’ ‘Kashtanka’ and ‘Marienbad’, a diploma work by the Russian Theatre Institute graduates and now actors of Sergei Zhenovach Studio of Theatre Art.
      Some of the spectacles will be broadcasted on-line at the site of the festival initiator www.cultu.ru.
      It is for the second time the Theatre Net festival is held. Last year several Moscow stages specially prepared for on-line broadcasting hosted performances of Peter Fomenko Studio, Shadow Theatre, Helicon Opera and other theatres. The spectacles were watched in 52 countries.
