Russian industrial production grew to 4.7 %

In 2011 industrial production in Russia grew to 4.7 %, says the official press release of the Federal State Statistics Service. This data confirmed last year forecast of the Minister of Economic Development, which predicted the growth of 4.8%.

      
Last year gas production grew to 2.9% in comparison with 2010, and it made up 669 billion cubic meters. Liquefied gas production raised 6.6% and made up 10.7 million tons. Oil and gas condensate productions grew to 0.8% to reach 509 million tons. Coal production grew 3.8% and made up 334 million tons.

      
Electricity production improved to 1.4% to get 1 052 billion kilo Watt an hour.
