Yakutia Is Attracting Attention To The History Of  Mammoths

" Northern World "  will consist of  " World Centre of Mammoths ", subway gallery of eternal frozen subsoil , ethnopark       "Northern Mosaic ", devoted to the indigenous scanty people of the North, ski resort , hotels and places of recreation.


      

70 % of all the finds of flora and fauna of boulder-period are made on the territory of Yakutiya, that's why this topic will be the main one in positioning of the tourist potential of the Republic. The region expects to receive 150 thousand of Russian tourists this year. Last year the number of visitors was 124 thousand.


      

Simultaneously, the number of foreign tourists can decrease from 5 thousand of people to 4 thousand. However, experts suppose that in 2012 the number will increase again as several large international events will take place here.


      

Within the bounds of the programme of tourism development, supported by the state , more than 5 thousand of foreign guests will have been visiting Yakutiy by 2016.
